I'm not caught up with Nikita yet.

For Hiatus, I'm catching up my movie viewing, doing galley edits on my contemporary BDSM 4 novella paperback, finishing a couple of baby afghans and generally keeping busy.

Current movie: Gangs of New York. I'm doing draft riot research for a steampunk story.

No one is caught up on Nikita. It's kind of hard until you get to the 5th episode, and then it's like Diet Crack with good shoes and pithy one liners.

Meanwhile, good luck with the edits and the research.. Sounds like hard work, but I'm sure you'll have a blast doing it.

The steampunk sounds interesting. I don't know much about steampunk, past what you can wiki, just that it's coming back in a big way, and anything of that genre I've read seems to have a lot of clocks.

I have several steampunk pieces out, mostly in anthologies, but a few stand alone shorts.

The one we're doing is a young man avoiding the draft by taking up with a gypsy troupe that travels by airship.

Writing is work. but reading hot, sexy, kinky stories m favorite kind of work.

Obviously Stanford would have to be the one with the sassy hip-jutting pose. I'm kind of curious, though: did she take a picture of the cardboard cut-outs and then just cut and paste their heads onto the photo? Or did she, for some reason, have giant blown up pictures of their faces she could conveniently slap onto life-size standups? I'm betting on the former, but the latter makes me laugh, so idk.

Apparently, Stanford and I are the only remaining holdouts to avoid Twitter. Though between Devon Sawa's hilarious tweets and Maggie Q's constant spazzing and cuteness, my resolve is beginning to crack. His will too, eventually. Then Sawa can hook him up with some Golden Girls wallpaper for his page or something. Good times.

I am a bad Stanford fan. I admit, I haven't seen any of Nikita, mostly because I work evenings, and when I finally get home and make time for TV catch up, I've got a LOT of TV to catch up on. I'm now waiting for it to make its way to Netflix so I can spend a few days marathoning the whole thing. I was a big La Femme Nikita fan back in the day, and I was seriously looking forward to this show, but then, I never got to see it.

As for what I'm watching now, I've been marathoning Weeds. I need to go rent the other 2 discs of season six and then I'll be all caught up. Honestly, everything I watch, I watch streaming on Hulu because I'm never home to watch it.

And as for Twitter... I have one, and for about a month, I was all over it. Then, I stopped. But, if Stanford showed up? I'd be all over Twitter, again.

I am so obsessed with Weeds. Please don't even get me started on how completely flawless the acting is on that show. It makes me hurt. Justin Kirk and MLP can do entire scenes without speaking. It's breathtaking. I can't even.

Fangirling so hard right now. I need to break my DVDs out.

I love that show. One of my co-workers used to talk about it. And then another of my co-workers marathoned it on Netflix and I was like, ok, I'll watch it, and three days later, I had watched nearly all of the seasons that were available to watch on Netflix LoL I'm off on Friday, so I think I'm going to stop and rent the other 2 discs of the recent season when I get off work Thursday and just plow through them.

You definitely should. I can't even keep composure when I talk about Weeds, and I'm all about keep composed to the level with a bit of a bite to it... It just hits me. There's something about the desperation and the purposeful purposeless and the spiral down. I lose my shit in half-phrases and then I start going meta. Legit fangirl status.

I hope you love the next disks. I loved this season. I think it really brought things full circle.

I'd like Stanford to join the Twitter community. I'm there, hardly ever check, but if he'd tweet I'd certainly read it. If I had the time. Just wish I'd hear from him more often I have no idea what's going on with him or what he's doing. Would be nice to be updated from time to time.

I always wanted to be the rebel and tell twitter to screw off, but there are too many cool people on there tweeting personal things. As a budding psychofan of many, I have to know what they're doing every day.

But seriously, Mr. Stanford doesn't come off as a tweeter. Although if he did start tweeting, I'll be sure to follow. >_>; Not watching anything besides Nikita right now. Actually I've been playing Tactics Ogre for PSP. Any gamers here? No? I'll be in my corner then!

Have you played Call of Duty 3? That's the one Stanford did voice work for.

I think we have someone on here who's a casual gamer and a casual Stanford fan, so IDK. But yes. I had to ask because there are things wrong with me. Hi!

Holy Wow. Yes I have played that game to death and I didn't even realize he did voice work for it. I HAVE to replay it now. I scare myself sometimes.
