So.. Do we have any new members who joined because they like Stanford on Nikita? Or are just fans of tiny!snarky!Birkhoff in general?

If not, why did you join (I'm guessing Pyro--it's always Pyro!)? Introduce yourselves.. Have fun. The internet needs more fun.

Hello, Lisa! Older member here... I've been on and off the site since X2 (or was it X3?), and it's great to see other people who get in to really good shows because of actors they like in non-main roles (my most recent? H50, because of Will Yun Lee. I like 'em short and greasy, I guess).

Ashe, I'm totally a fan of Tiny!Snarky!Birkhoff and the way Stanford plays him. I want to watch more LFN (the series, not the movie) to see whether it's a "Birkhoff in general" thing or a "Stanford and Nikita lucked out in finding each other" thing, but so far, Stanford's definitely my Birkhoff.

I love snarky people.. I feel like Stanford is always playing the snarky character, so he and Birkhoff are great for one another..

I would love to see him be able to do something in Nikita's off season, though.

Don't worry.. Would you like me to make a list of stuff I've only seen because Stanford was in it? I think it's a good way to to help you learn about film and TV. There's one actor you like and he's in this film you really like, so you start seeing other things with that director and that actress and that other actor and that cinematographer, and all of a sudden you've really expanded your repertoire.

Stanford and Anna Paquin have introduced me to some really amazing playwrights, actually.. I've read stuff off of their resumes. Nicky Silver is one of my favorites. I also really like Neil Labute and have an admiration for the way Christopher Shinn does language. (I kind of prefer him to Mamet, but that's one of those things..)

Hi Ashe, new member here. My name is Chris and ever since Hills Have Eyes I've been a Stanford fan. Thanks for all your hard work on keeping the rest of us up to date on Aaron's news (not that there's much of it but I respect his desire for privacy). Re: Birkhoff I think he's crazy and hip in season 2 but loved him even more in season 1. Still wish they'd pair Birkhoff and Alex! Think it's possible?

I actually don't think Alex and Birkhoff is going to happen.. But Nikita is one of those shows that I just can't ship.. I can't really care who ends up with who and I've always wanted something that goes against canon, for the most part.

But you know.. That's good, if it doesn't work in canon.. That means you can get involved in a fan community and you can write and draw your own versions and you don't have to adhere to what the writers say.. Because the writers always have a different idea of how things should be.

I learned my lesson on this with House. =)

I joined after watching all his movies (started with live free or die). They're all so.. good. Even the bad ones, he just makes it good.

I love Live Free or Die.. There are some of Stanford's films that I didn't like particularly, but art is subjective, you know? Something that I don't like is what the next person is in love with. The important thing is that everyone is working at something they believe in.

This seems like the most interesting forum for Aaron so I joined and here I am saying hello! :)
I caught Tadpole randomly on TV quite recently and there was something about him I couldn't put my finger on, so I'm in the middle of watching all his other stuff and have to say I'm a wee bit obssessed now.
He's great as Birkoff too! I think Runaway is my favourite film of his (but I haven't watched them all yet)
Keep up the good work!
