After deciding the LA solo lives, Jin is rehearsing towards the lives. Due to such oversea lives, this month's theme would be based on traveling. What are Jin's traveling styles?
Memories of traveling
Since I was a kid, my family would go traveling often. Or should I say hot spring trips. Although I only have pieces of memories, I couldn't remember at all where I went on my first trip. Though I do remember the graduation trip for primary school. Went to the mountains, made camp fires...also you don't really get to talk to kids from other classes in primary school right? But we did get the chance during the graduation trip and I felt "that was new, nice". The first time I went oversea was because of work so it didn't felt like "traveling". Before I went to study in LA, going to Spain was probably my first oversea trip? My first one-man trip was when I went to America to meet up with someone I knew...probably. I now go overseas quite often so I can't remember properly (laugh).
Akanishi's traveling style
When I have time I tend to want to travel, or I'd want to see friends from overseas. The purpose of traveling is not to refresh myself, but to meet friends so I often went without any plans. The things I decide beforehand are probably only where I'd be staying at. The length of a trip is dependent on how much time I can use, with the shortest time being only 2 days. Personal traveling item would be a laptop? It's fine if I don't have it, but when I bring it I can search for informations, make simple connections with people so it's really helpful. I would check mail during traveling, so I wouldn't get home sick or anything like that.
The charm of traveling
The charm of traveling would be to refresh myself and meeting with new people. Knowing ones culture and meeting with new people is a great way to stimulate myself. As a creator, having an inspiration of making things, a lot of things can be encountered during traveling. Although I never wrote anything songs when I'm traveling, but traveling probably stimulated my brain some way...is what I've felt (laugh). Right now, I want to go to Italy! I've said this a long time ago, but I still haven't had the chance... If I could, not only Italy, but I'd want to spend 2 weeks traveling the European countries by train.
Recently
Right now I'm preparing for the live in LA. Having a live oversea has always been one of my dreams, when the live in LA was decided I was really excited. Of course I was worried, since this is the first time. Also since I can't use Japanese on stage, the English I'd have to use would be different from what I usually speak...but I'm not building stress or having negative feelings, just feeling excited. There might be people who felt lonely about the whole thing, but going to America for lives doesn't mean I'll be gone. I myself does not want this chance to escape...I just really want to focus on such a chance right now. So please, don't say "he's not coming back". If there are people who went all the way to LA for my lives, I would be really pleased. If there's the chance, please definitely come. I've been working fully until now, when I've noticed, I'm almost 26, I felt that right now would be my best period of life.
