Asking singer Akanishi Jin
Starting off on Nov.7th in Chicago, having his first live tour in America's 5 cities, before the last live in NY, singer Akanishi Jin-san talks about the tour and his activities from now on.
- About the upcoming NY live tomorrow, please tell us your feelings.
Jin: Um, I still couldn't believe it. But I felt kind of lonely, since it is the last day (of the tour).
- Within this month, what is your thoughts on the country America?
Jin: I had a lot of fun. I have memories on everything that happened.
- This time about the 5 cities tour. Please tell us your feeling when you first heard that it was decided.
Jin: I had the "eh~!!" feeling and the "ehhhh!" feeling.
- You were surprised?
Jin: Um, I just presented two types of surprised reactions (laugh). "Eh~!!" and "ehhhh!".
- I didn't realize (laugh). So, the first "eh~!" was..?
Jin: Kinda worried
- Second ehhhh! was?
Jin: Finally! kinda feeling and being happy.
- Which one won?
Jin: They battled quite a lot, but in the end ehhhh!-kun used some dirty tricks in hurting eh~!-kun...then, finally eh~!-san was getting kind of pitiful...
- Ano, can you please answer seriously?
Jin: Iya, that was answered very seriously (laugh)
- So the worried side won?
Jin: Um, you could say that.
- Akanishi-san gets nervous too?
Jin: Every time, I get nervous every time I stand on the stage.
- The Chicago, San Francisco, Houston, and Los Angeles lives you've had, what's different in your feeling from the concerts in Japan?
Jin: There's not much changes. No matter if I'm in Japan or America. There's nothing particularly different that I can say...but, the fans in America...dance.
- The reactions from fans are great?
Jin: They aren't bad at all. I started liking to stand on stage here (in this country).
- The songs you've performed on the tour are all created by yourself, how did you decide in creating them?
Jin: Decide...um, that's hard. How should I put it. I just created something I wanted to make at that time and put all into it. After that, maa, the concept of the concert itself had the futuristic image, and I just made the songs consistent with the central idea.
- Just an abstract question, but what would you like to get across to the fans on the stage tomorrow?
Jin: What to get across............me. (laugh)
- That's an awesome answer. (laugh) Please tell us your impression of the streets in NY in the end.
Jin: I've been here many times. This time too, I felt the greatness of such place as always. I love it here.
