On the last day Feb.13th (Sun) of the "Yellow Gold Tour 3011 Akanishi Jin America Tour Triumph Live 3011" in Japan Budoukan performance, a press box conference was held just before the live started. We get across of that to you.

Akanishi appeared with black jacket and hat, with blue jeans underneath creating a very casual chic style.
Standing behind a stump prepared especially for the conference, first of all, "The 1st single release in America has been decided!", where he announced such a big news!
"With Warner-san, we've listened to all kinds of music, including mine, we've picked and decided on Jason Derulo's song after some discussion.
After trying to record, himself seemed to be pleased as well", and so, a collaboration song has been decided for the single release.
Jason Derulo, debut song "Whatcha Say" topped No.1 as a breaking R&B new artist in the US. Also the No.1 producer in States that worked on the same song, J.R.Rotem, is also handling the US debut single of Akanishi!
About the contents of such an anticipated song, "It's still at its work stages...I think it has a pop feeling!" said Akanishi.
First impression when facing Derulo for the first time, "I thought he might be older but it turned out that he's younger, 1st surprise (laugh). Then after I met him, he turned out to be a great person, so that's the 2nd surprise. 3rd surprise...I think that will come up after wards!!", with a humorous tone that got the crowd laughing.
Finally America debut has been decided! In terms of such a big thing, Akanishi commented naturally, "Although it's a great thing happening, rather than saying I'll work hard towards it...it's more like I want to work on how I will present it".
