What exactly is a Live Journal troll. I think I may be one. There are some people that I really like that I keep tabs on through their friends page and user info. These are people that I came to really care about but decided only to be friends with a select few. I think its trolling if you join a community or a journal, with the intent to cause drama or harm.

What you're describing sounds more like LJ-stalking. :) I do it too.

If you LJ-stalk with the intent of talking about said person behind their back -- then that's snarking.
