lees, that's really cool you posted that tonight. my mom and i had a similar discussion. i agree with you in some ways, but i think that in highschool dating could be used as something to help you sort of "narrow down" what you're looking for in a future spose. i mean dating like going out to eat a couple times or whatever. i definitely think that long-term serious relationships in high school are 9 times out of 10 pointless. and usually end in broken hearts and all that crap.

alot of people use that excuse for dating. "Well if you never date anyone, then how will you know what you want in a person?" I dont' think God is going to bring along some one that you can't stand. THat person that God has for you will be perfect for YOU, thats why we don't need to worry what we might want in a person, or what DO WE want in that person, because its all in God's hands, if we would just let him.

hmmm. tonight i was talking to a friend about what a couple basically have in common in highschool is lust. I, of course, got this from reading the forever changing profile by lisa walker. you never know when you are going to have to use this stuff, and tonight was one of those times. so i was thankful:)

HUMMMM... the whole dateing thing..

i'm not sure if i would go as far as saying to never date in high school. its just, don't date someone just to date someone.. ANYONE. but if you like, really like that person, then its ok if you want to get into the whole dating seen. even though theres alot of crap that comes along with it, and problems, and it makes things not so easy anymore. but most likie later in the highschool years. i know that right now, i really don't want to get into that right now, that would just mess everything up at the moment. but probably when i get older and i meet somone that i want to date. just not right now.
But, thats just how i think.
