I'm in a really pissy mood right now, thus I am not at my last run-outs anymore and it's only just before midnight. Ah well. This is not going to be a self-depricating or feeling-sorry-for-myself type of entry, despite the slightly emo intro...it's been forever since I've done an entry, and I don't feel the need for that. I'm glad you made that difficult decision a couple of years ago. Honestly, it has always been comforting to have someone else around that didn't have a perfect place to fit into in Phi Sig--I think we both kind of made a place for ourselves. And it's always good to have another eccentric around : )

And yes, Kat Lanphear is a goddess. Can't really argue with you on that one.

I must concur on the Kat being a goddess, I have known this for a very long time. As far as coming to Chicago, I hope you do it. It would be great to have someone to hang out with here. And as far as working for the Urban Life Center. . .let me not taint your mind. But if you get the job and you really want to know what's it's like let me know. Even if you don't get the job and you want to know drop me a line. I could tell you some stories. Anywho, I'm at work and I gotta run. Later.

I think I'll definitely end up in Chicago sooner or later, when just depends on the job situation. And I will definitely be in touch when I come to town :)

As for the Urban Life Center, I would really love to hear some stories/feedback from working there. Don't worry about disillusioning me, I'm not going into it with my eyes closed, I remember a bit of what the "apprentices" went through when I was there. I'm not exactly banking on them hiring me--let's just say I was a bit outspoken while I was in the program, particularly about one of their instructors--but I will be impressed with them if they see that as a positive and give me a chance. I was actually going to try to talk to you about this before because I heard a rumor that you would be coming to Canada for New Years, but you weren't there and I forgot to email you and ask :) Anyhoo, they're not being very straightforward with the details on the positions, so any info you'd like to give me would be very much appreciated.
