The ugly/depressing/gut wrenching: $900 to fix my broken car.   Seriously, a timing belt and (more than likely) the tensioners that it goes around.  A 4-6 hour job and the front of the engine has to come off.  I hate having a car sometimes.  Restricting my driving after I get it back

CANNOT WAIT! I'm trying to hide from him how excited I actually am. I want this to be a good trip, but I'm definitely a little nervous about the whole thing.
