Hell hath no fury like an interrupted Lois Lane. Plus, the fact that he would just tell her to go, without anything else -- well, she was not impressed.
"Didn't you hear?" She threw open her laptop again and glared at him. "I've quit eating. It's bad for the environment." Pushing the on button, she grinned with satisfaction. "So go away, Ollie. Haven't I suffered enough this week?"
Oliver grinned and unplugged the laptop, then reached down and depressed the start button, effectively turning off the computer. "No...not nearly enough," he joked.
"Come on. Will it really be so bad to go out and have lunch with me? I'll let you get the Happy Meal with the little car toy."
She sat there for a moment and looked at him. He looked so smug, so full of himself and she wanted nothing more than to wipe that smile off of his face.
"Make it the CD, and we have a deal." And then she'd make him play it in the car. Yeah, it'd be hell to listen to children singing, but it'd be worse for him. She'd just smile away. "But I demand that afterwards, you do a photo-op with Ronald McDonald. It'd be great publicity, don't you think?"
She stood up, and grabbed her jacket, pausing only to say:"And if you ever touch my laptop again, I will bite your finger over and shove it up so far up your ass you'll be able to tickle yourself from the inside. Understood?"
He held his hands up in surrender and smirked, watching her get her jacket. "Understood," he repeated, "and also...kinky."
He had no plans on making her eat at McDonalds, of course, but he would stop for the photo-op, if for no other reason than she probably thought he wouldn't.
"I promise, you'll get your CD," he said with a sincere smile, "and the photo-op." He fully planned on dragging her into the picture, if at all possible.
