A fandom quilt. As in, a quilt where each square was a character from one of my fave fandoms. sunhawk16 is making a Gundam Wing one with chibis that someone drew for her, and *gestures ( Read more... )

Oh, if only I could quilt. :) SPMN, TFATF, PKMN, DBZ, GW, TMNT, FMA, KKM, TF, RGB, H:tLJ, X-Men, SPN, SU, and god I could go on forever. :) I may make something else to commemorate it. ^^

*nodnod* I have this mental image of several members of the fandom being little old ladies who can quilt their asses off... though I want to learn how, I think. Oi, you could do the chibis! *looks cute*

I could possibly draw chibis. The quilting is far beyond me however. ^^

And yeah, you just know out there is an old lady in every fandom making fandom-quilts, or knitting fandom-sweaters for their grandkids. ^^

LOL Heee the cuteness. *gestures* And same here - I'd probably want Tenchi Muyo and all the girls as well as Rurouni and Kurama and Hiei, etc.

What a cute idea! I made a quilt once, when I was learning how to sew (when I was probably about 8), and since then have started a couple more but not finished them. I would love to make another one someday, though, as long as I could get over my shame and just TIE it instead of worrying about actually quilting it. *sigh* Or, um, actually learn how to properly quilt it, and develop some patience. Haha.

Mine would have... Well. Basically SPN characters (Sam, Dean, Metallicar, John, Mary), Numb3rs characters (Don, Charlie, maybe others) and then maybe just like... one square for Friday Night Lights, one for Heroes, one for Bones (which is my newest fandom, btw), maybe a couple of Arrested Development characters... Hm. Honestly, you could fill a whole quilt with just SPN. :-) That would be fun.

Although I kind of fear the ridicule I'd face from Certain People if I actually did it. :-/

Connor and Murphy from Boondock Saints, Dean and Sam from Supernatural, Michael and Max and Isabel and Tess from Roswell (or just the Four Square symbol), Sailor Pluto (I liked her best, hee) from Sailor Moon, Duo from Gundam Wing, Aragorn from LotR, Harry and Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter, and a lot of other stuff I'd have to really think on first. :D Those are just the biggies.
