043. Washing Machines

Description: Donghae destroys the washing machine, Siwon is left to do cleanup with him.
I haven't written in a really really long time. So anyway, i just decided to write this cause i was bored, and i needed something to do. Please do comment!

“Boom!”
A loud explosive sound rang out from the yard, and the electricity in the apartment went off. Shocked by the sound, the Super Junior M members ran to check what had happened, and was greeted with a sheepish Donghae, standing beside the washing machine with the lid open, which was spurting out water, and had somehow managed to come into contact with the power plug, thus causing the power to get cut off.
Zhoumi gave a sigh and started shaking his head. Siwon was giving Donghae one of his expressive looks, with his eyes wide open and mouth gaping wide. Henry and Ryeowook were trying hard to hold back their giggles, while attempting to avoid Hangeng’s angry stares at them. Kyuhyun simply walked off, mumbling that he was going to call the manager.
This wasn’t the first time something like this had happened between Donghae and the washing machine. The very first time he did the laundry, he had used too much force while setting the dial, and had broken off the knob.
The second time, Donghae had somehow managed to put too much soap powder which resulted in the whole yard filled with soap suds. The entire group had a very nice time doing the cleanup that day.
After the third and fourth time, the members had decided that four times was enough, and they didn’t need a fifth time. Hence, they decided to ban Donghae from using the washing machine to prevent any future accidents.
But somehow, Donghae had managed to sneak behind their backs and use the washing machine. Apparently, the washing machine had already started when Donghae realised that he had missed out some clothes. Without attempting to stop the washing machine, he had opened the lid of the washing machine to pop to clothes in, only to have the water spurt out. Before he could even react, the power in the entire house had already gone off.
Zhoumi had somehow managed to stop the washing machine from spurting water, and had removed the plug from the socket. However, as Hangeng and Zhoumi had to rush off for an interview, Henry was meeting some relative in town, and Ryeowook and Kyuhyun had a recording session to do, the only people left behind were the guilty Donghae, and an innocent Siwon to do the cleanup.
Donghae was mopping up the water, while Siwon removed the dripping wet and thankfully undestroyed clothes from the washing machine, and placing them aside to handwash again later. There was total silence as neither of them knew what to say to the other person.
Suddenly, Siwon was interrupted by a hug from Donghae behind his back. He heard the soft words whisper in his ear, followed by the soft whimpers of Donghae trying to hold back his tears.
“Sorry, sorry. I never meant to cause such a mess, I just wanted to help out for once. Sorry, I only know how to cause trouble, it’s all my fault…”
All these while, Siwon could feel Donghae’s tears falling onto his back, he knew that Donghae was feeling really guilty, and the guilt was starting to get to him. Turning around, he returned Donghae’s hug, and began to whisper in his ear.
“Don’t be sorry, accidents happen. We know your intentions were good, and that’s all that matters…”
