Planets. Who needs them?

I've been making a lot of lists recently. No real reason, just something to do. Not that I need to kill time or anything. Not that I'm talking to myself. Anyway ( Read more... )

Look, we're username buddies!

I totally agree with you, though. Who wants all this - stuff - around when you can be alone in the void, as long as you've got the internet?

How do the stars look, from way out there? Do you pick out constellations to keep you company?

I think you're cool. (:

Everyone thinks I'm cool. I hope. It's sort of hard to know what they're saying about me behind my back when I'm out here. It's a good thing I have so much self confidence.

And that's another reason I'm glad I'm not on Mars - I get a better view of the stars. much better then rocks anyday. They wouldn't be much good if I really needed company, though. So it's a good thing I don't.

Hey there! Welcome to the LJ world. I'm really pleased to see all of you spacecraft opening up your own journals.

Every mission has its good and bad points. Y'know? Mine all stay in Earth orbit, and wish they could be out there in the far reaches of the Solar System sometimes. You've got a really nice view of things, and now you're able to communicate with us.

Stardust! Wow, great seeing you here! I remember being so happy when you launched, since it meant I was getting close to launch too. What've you been up to? How'd the Comet Wild flyby go?

Yeah, gravity can hurt. But I am strong, so I do not feel pain. Well, not like really bad pain, at least not so bad that I'll start crying like a girl or anything. So gravity can hurt, but so can big empty spaces in their own way. Won't you lose your sense of direction and go round in circles?

Ooh, I make lists sometimes. Like one day I got really bored (I mean, really, CA just has the nicest weather) and I made a list of all the things I could see. It wasn't very long. It consisted primarily of other satellites, clouds, ocean, some landforms, some waterbodies, etc. But yeah, it must be so cool being able to fly around. You know, sometimes I wonder what it would be like to not be stuck here doing the same thing every day. Now I know! Wow, this livejournal thing sure is cool. Anyway, just thought I'd pop and say hi. I'm kinda stuck in the atmosphere so I would love to read more about your adventures.
