Viruses aren't that hard to kill. Listen- when you start the computer up, start it in safe mode by pressing f5 repeatedly. If you can do that, you're good.
One thing is for sure- your files are not going to die. Once the virus, which is only a file itself, is deleted, everyhting else will be fine.
Try downloading Avast! I had a virus recently that was really stubborn and it died from that.
If you need help, let me know. Your computer will be fine.
it was random. i think. i was on msn and this window popped up from some unknown person and it said 'is this you in this picture?' and a photo link, and me being the dumbass i am, clicked, and then it sent the link to everyone who was online and then ads popped up everywhere and it froze up. now everytime i turn my computer on its frozen. i'm afraid to turn it on now. it was already close to the limit for memory and now it's fucked.
i wanted to visit halifax before i left, i just don't know if i will or not now. i don't think i'll have the money.

It sucks though that you may lose everything. Was it those tards who were on your computer downloading shit that got the virus or was it random?
Btw, are you planning on coming up to Halifax before you leave?
