I have Tuesdays and Thursdays off, so I spent this morning actually going ahead with operation "Write all morning in the Starbucks". Went over there at about 10 am, and took advantage of the free refills for 'Green Card' members and had four cups of tea for the price of one until 2 pm. The wonky sleep could be the change in the weather. The cooler conditions might be luring you into peaceful slumber instead of sweaty tossing and turning. ... ... ... Yay though! For the writing!

The caffeine seems to have helped me have a more rational sleep pattern last night at least, even as my heart was clenching spasmodically.

I actually, because I am a masochist, went back for iced tea (and free refills) at night because I'd gotten the 'Treat Reciept' coupon in the morning. Because it was 'bonus' writing time, I wanted to work on something unprofitable, so I started that experiment of re-writing my first fic. It's actually been really fun and interesting!

Fiction re-writes sound like a fun challenge. Let me know how that works out. Would they ever spin off into 'profitable work'?

It's a really fun challenge. Plus it's just an interesting insight-- the things I thought were completely necessary to a story at 18 and the stuff that I find completely missing now. Also my point of view-- I didn't write adults very fairly back then, but I sure do now ( ... )
