my dear sweet Honeybee...

As some of you know, HoneyBee recently had a big adventure by escaping to the outside. I found her and she seemed fine. She was eating and pooing. Today my 17 month old grandson and I got home from his Drs appt and brought in dandelions for the bunnies and I found HoneyBee laying in her pen and knew right away she had passed over the rainbow bridge

I'm so so sorry. I'm so glad you two had each other, and my heart is broken to hear of your loss. But I'm happy she had you, and that you had her. So much love.

Thank you so much. She really did bring so much good and joy to my house. She was such a little imp at times. I will miss her picking up her little stuffed toy and running circles around me at salad time. she had three of the stuffed toys so I did bury her with her favorite one.

We're sure HoneyBee hop-reciated all the good times she had, and is looking back on them fondly from the Bridge.

Thank you. She is missed. Even though my grandson is only 17 months old, he is going to miss seeing her here. He was fascinated with her...got bit by her a few times, but he learned from that and still wanted to be friends with her. It was with her that he learned how to do *gentle* when petting her. He stays with me 3 days/2 nights a week, and I just had him for a week while his parents were off on their honeymoon. This weekend I'll be putting her stuff away and I'll have to figure out how to explain to him that she's gone. At least by Monday when he arrives, I should be able to do it without crying! Everyone that has ever met her is saddened by her passing. She was a good (and naughty at times) little girl.

Very sorry to hear that. Well done for taking her in though and improving her life. How old are Star and Sweetpea now? Did Star ever warm to Honeybee?
