So I haven't updated on my Political and Government stuff...
I was in Government and Politics today, and it surprised me how shady Congress is! I thought, well you know people think of laws and then they go through the whole bill process that I learned from School House Rock, and if Congress votes no, then too bad for the bill, blah blah blah. All of it was formulaic, mixed with some of the childhood nationalism from my early grades. Yet, I never knew how influential money was, yes indeed, naivite, but money even controls THIS democratic system that most Americans think that they can trust. It's a little unnerving, but it's another negative aspect of the governement that I can add to my list.
