My mom met a woman on an airplane a while ago [don't ask] who is going to become a teacher of English as a second language. I could see myself really liking that. I could do it here or I could use it as an excuse to travel the world. I think I may have thought of that as a possibility at one point a few years ago, but it seems so much more

haha That's VERY funny.
I used to want to be a professor, but I hear about all the crap that profs have to put up with and it is SCARY. If you want to know what's it's REALLY like to be an ESL teacher, ask my mom (I could totally give you her email).

Sorry, but I'm too jaded on this. It does sound like something you'd be good at though.

When I'm in Spain next year, I will be looking into jobs doing just that. I'll let you know how it goes.

So basically, you posted this a while ago, but I think you'd be a really good ESL teacher. And if I know you, you wouldn't be discouraged just because it's not easy. You could do a whole lot of good that way and I think you'd be great.
