I'm feeling kind of restless right now. I need some new music...and I need recommendations. Give me bands to listen to and why I should listen to them!

okkervil river. they're mostly pretty mellow but melodic and fun.
boat. nice indie folksy rocky stuff.
umbrellas. the singer has a dreamy voice. and I don't mean that in a bobby socks-er kind of way. I mean it's just awesome!
Sherwood...because...I said!
I'm readying you a package I'll make you a mix. word.

Boat...I don't know, does it come with a sail ;)

I'd kill a man for a klondike bar, and a mix CD ;)

Well, these might be familiar to you, hence not making them new, but my top ten at this very moment are (in no particular order):

The Postal Service
Death Cab for Cutie
Nine Inch Nails
Tori Amos
The Decemberists
Bright Eyes
Radiohead
She Wants Revenge
Kanye West
Flyleaf
Bowling For Soup

You always listen to such great stuff, Amy!

totheteeth/tothehilt's page was not loading for me, I'll have to try again later. I'm totally asking everyone I know or ever met this question. I realized the other day that its been AGES since I got my hands on something new. But its weird, at the same time, I wasn't bored with music, I was still totally listening to Sonic Youth and stuff like that...
