I see your point and in the grand scheme of things agree with your argument. Maybe in a few days when I have calmed down I will be able to view things in an "optimistic" (for lack of a better word" light.

However, it is still a consolation prize in my opinion.
Who wants the blender when they could have the new car?

This was much more polite than what originally I came up with, but I'll just say I agree that it is rather arrogant to assume your point of view must be superior to the hundred million plus who voted for Bush, myself included.

Yeah, I don't think America should be run the same way you think it should be, but that doesn't make me an imbecile, moron, or un-American. I think it is the height of being American to have voted in this election the way I feel is best for the country.

Marissa, I agree...this morning I was so angry that the words would not stop flowing. Now, I feel that I can't really say anything more because no one seems to care as much as I'd like them to. What a frustrating country we live in. Today, I feel ashamed to be a part of it. The fire in my stomach is coming back just thinking about it, so on that note, I'll say goodnight.
