All Love [Ingrid Michaelson]
When I push you away and say you simply cannot stay here
It’s all love, my stupid love
Over my Head [The Fray]
And everyone knows I'm in over my head
I wish you were a stranger I could disengage
Slow Down [Natalie Imbruglia]
One day you might get tired of chasing the end of the rainbow.
You're already there, you know?
No Tomorrow [Orson]
'Cause you're the only one who can get me on my feet
And I can't even dance
Collect Call [Metric]
Keep me closer, I'm a lazy dancer
I know it's a lie, I want it to be true
Coming of Age [Milow]
One shot of happy, two shots of sad.
That's how our lives are aligned.
Under the Sheets [Ellie Goulding]
In our house made of paper, your words all over me
Hallelujah [John Cale]
But it's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
I'm not calling you a liar [Florence and the Machine]
I'm not calling you a liar. Just don't lie to me.
And I love you so much, I'm going to let you kill me
Half in Love with Elizabeth [Mystery Jets]
How could you put your trust in a man who always sleeps in his clothes?
If you pin your hopes to his back, my dear,
I'm afraid the bubble will burst
White Flag [Dido]
I promise I'm not trying to make your life harder
or return to where we were
Don't you want to share the guilt? [Kate Nash]
So we sit in the garden and touch the grass
Hope for the Hopeless [A Fine Frenzy]
like a window bending in the storm we'll make it
Soldier [Ingrid Michaelson]
This soldier knows, the batlle with the heart isn't easily won
But it can be won.
.zip *this mainly consists of songs I've listened to over the past three to four months, so there are quite a few recent ones. Slow Down & Coming of Age are two songs I strongly associate with Yoko while the others are rather plot-depending. Half in love with Elizabeth seemed really fitting for the story. Erika might not be named Elisabeth, but both names start with an E (Eli/Eri if you want to bring up the whole there is no proper l in japanese topic up) . Only after I've decided to include the song I found out that Elizabeth should also refer to money (because Queen Elisabeth's appearance on British Pound notes - which is really amusing regarding that nice relationship Hina and his money share 8D I'm lame, so I stole some plot elements from Kate Nash's Don't you want to share the guilt and you will easily figure out which ones. I couldn't keep from adding A Fine Frenzy, because she has to be included, as well as Florence and the Machine and Ingrid Michaelson. The whole Ingrid Michaelson-frame - as I like to call it - is also very intended and very nice :D
