Lothar looked around the Ship he was in. It was a mess, either they needed major repairs or they were doing major repairs. And it stank. A lot. Lothar moved into what he figured was the main cabin and started hitting buttons, gently this time so that he could hit them again if they proved useful. There was a squelchy noise coming from a speaker above his head that said “…screekkeec…. This is Stardock control to Surak’s Razor you are not cleared for departure. Over”
Lothar managaed to say “I.. leaving.. now” before having to clamp both of his hands over his mouth to stifle the song that his brain was telling him to sing.
“ssscccreeeekc ptsst. Is that Lothar? Can he pilot a ship? Releasing docking clamps and the exit it over there…”
Lothar his a few more buttons and “accidentally” fired upon a cleaning crew which ducked out of the way just in time. His brain teaming with melodies he found it difficult to concentrate on anything but not singing. Realizing he can’t stop anymore, he gives in and sings, and for whatever reason that floated to the top of Lothar’s brain, he managed to patch into the loudspeaker system on Milliways so he could sing to everyone…
