I'm Lost And I'm Found

Pausing only to place his boots onto the correct feet,
Evil Storvik made his way from Ryan's quarters toward
Starbase 668's docking bay level. His plan was to take the Ankh and depart. This would not be an inconvenience to
Storvik or
T'Sorvik, as the
USS Murgatroid was expected to arrive tomorrow - and, after all, the Ankh did not belong to any of them; as it had been stolen from Deep Space Nine by some late but hardly lamented
Mib Khan clones. In any event, he had already left a message for his analog, which explained nothing, but would be delivered after he had left.
As "Evil" Storvik approached the docking bays, he noticed groups of security officers running ahead of him into the reception area… and groups of civilians and other station personnel running past him out of the reception area. Something was obviously happening; but the Vulcan's only concern was that it provide a cover for his departure. And then, he saw a hole in the station's hull, in the shape of a large humanoid, sealed with an emergency force field. The upraised hands of the humanoid shape each had two fingers - the index and "pinky" - extended.
Through the hole, "Evil" Storvik saw a familiar sight: his old ship Surak's Razor, still clad in the remains of an asteroid embedded with minerals which interfered with Federation sensors (but was still visible to the naked eye, unlike a Romulan cloaking device). The ancient, highly-modified freighter was now sporting six stolen warp nacelles. Obviously, given the presence of Surak's Razor, the hole in the station's hull, and the various crowds running about, Counsellor
Lothar must have recently arrived on Starbase 668. For any sentient, logical being, this was sufficient motivation for leaving immediately; but even more so in
Evil Storvik's case, as Lothar considered him to be a spare, "expendable" backup copy of
Storvik - and when Lothar considered someone to be expendable, he tended to "expend" them rather quickly (as countless Mib Khan clones were completely unable to attest).
"Evil" Storvik changed his plans. Rather than steal the Ankh, he would reclaim his old ship. Still, it would be a shame to leave without stealing something, so the Vulcan stole an EVA suit and went out an airlock to jump across to Surak's Razor. Given the sensor-confusing aspect of the asteroid covering, and the fact that he didn't know what modifications had been done to the interior of the ship, it would have been far too dangerous to attempt to beam aboard. Normally, he would have ordered the computer inside Surak's Razor to handle the transport; but the old computer core had been destroyed by a virus (the same sentient virus which had destroyed the
ISS Voyager), and "Evil" Storvik did not know what, if anything, Lothar had installed in its place.
When he got inside Surak's Razor,
Evil Storvik found one new thing that
Lothar had installed: a middle-aged human female of Oriental ancestry. "I'm Captain Leslie Wong of the USS Cairo," she introduced herself. "Thank you for coming to my rescue!"
"Evil" Storvik did not feel any attraction toward the woman, but he told himself that this did not mean anything. After all, his pon farr had passed … and she was, as nearly as he could calculate in human terms, "butt ugly." The Vulcan made a quick examination of the new computer, to make sure he would be able to work with it, and then he gave his EVA suit to Captain Wong. "Put this on, and make the transit to Starbase 668 outside," he instructed her. "Once there, you may take the runabout Ankh to get wherever it is you are supposed to be; although the runabout should eventually be returned to Deep Space Nine." When she protested taking his EVA suit, he explained that he would stay behind to make a full examination of the ship.
"Two of those nacelles are mine!" were her last words as she left Surak's Razor.
