I know my journal is a little... dead. But I do use it to comment on fics and things of a fan-ish nature. Anyway, I figured since I requested certain pairings I should tell you why I like them so much.
Listed fandoms:
1. Glee:
Rachel/Quinn: They were my first Glee OTP. Before I really got into the series I would read Faberry fics. I love their frienemy relationship and there's always something good about the fallen girl getting the geek, or vice versa.
Rachel/Santana: This pairing is love/hate to a "t". Reminds me of the Sam/Nicole dynamic from my Popular days :).
Quinn/Mercedes: I admit, I've quite fallen for this couple. The show played up their interaction starting from Mercedes’ stint as a Cheerio. Like any shipper's dream their friendship developed fast and secure, and are at a good point to begin taking their relationship past mere friendship.
2. Community:
Britta/Annie: Since the finale I'm more into Jeff/Annie but Britta and Annie's friendship pre-finale gives this couple potential. If the ex-Jeff/Britta matter is handled efficiently then Britta/Annie would be a drama-filled but satisfying relationship.
Shirley/Britta: I can't exactly put my finger on why I love this couple so much. Maybe its their underdog status- Shirley and Britta are taking a second chance in their lives to better their future. They love to gossip and have a good friendship-chemistry that could change to something more, given the right catalyst.
Wildcard fandoms:
1. Jennifer's Body:
Jennifer/Needy: I love them as a couple. Their relationship is strong and they genuinely care for each other when the boys in their lives suck. I'd love to see what Needy admits to after she escapes the asylum.
2. Cracks:
Di Radfield/OFC: I love Di, and her interactions with Miss G and Fiamma. I would love to see how her strong, yet vulnerable personality deals with forbidden love during World War II.
3. Daria TAS:
Daria/Jane: The classic couple. Their friendship is amazing because they survived so much (Daria's attitude, Daria and Tom, Daria and college- mostly just Daria :]) and manage not to kill each other. I think it would be interesting to see how they would handle the next level in their relationship.
Daria/Jodie: Daria and Jodie are kind of the same, and that's what makes them compatible. Sure Jodie is an overachiever who has to compensate for the lack of diversity at her school and Daria's unmotivated past her own selfish reasons. If they could let down their guards around each other they would be an interesting couple.
