Otakon 2006 went better than I expected and I can say (leaving out the fact that I had to sleep in a chair in a room filled with nine other people) that this has been the best Otakon I've attended.

I have so been there. I once slept in a room with virtually 6 strangers when I went to Otakon, but of course it was worth it because I love Kon. I didn't get to go this year though...
