(no subject)
Hi,
I got back a few days ago from my vacation from Texas and Chicago with my boyfriend, so now that I'm home, I can tell you all how it went.
It was amazing. We went to Texas first for four days to visit some of his family. There were so nice to me. It was so so hot there, that the second day there, I got sunburned when I went swim. I haven't really been swimming for a long time, but I can sort of swim a tiny bit. I actually suprised myself exactly how much I can swim. I did a few laps back and forward, and for me to do that, it was a great accomplishment. The most amazing thing that I did was when I went under the water( I don't know how to describe it) as when I was about 12m I nearly drowned, so I have always been scared to get under the water, but I told myself that this trip, I'm not going to be scared, I can do it, and I did. I was so proud of myself. My boyfriend smiled at me and told me how proud of me he was, so that meant a lot to me.
The next day we went golfing with everybody, I did pretty good, I didn't win though, but my boyfriend did.
The day before we left, we did some tourist things. We went to a dam, it was cool.
We left Texas on Saturday the 16th and left for Chicago. The plane was suppose to go at 1pm, but we didn't leave for 2 and half hour, we had to sit in the plane for that long, as first there was a storm, then there was something wrong with the computer, there just seem to be one problem after another. We didn't get to the hotel until I think 7pm and then we had dinner, and we missed the fireworks at Navy Pier. We defintely were just wanted to go to bed.

The next day, we went to Navy Pier, I couldn't believe how busy it was. It was Sunday after all. We tried to go to the Aquarium, but it was so busy because of Father’s Day, that we changed our mind.
The next day, we went to the The Art Institute of Chicago, both me and Gavin(my boyfriend) didn't think we would like it, but we actually surprised ourselves, out of all the places that we visit, that was one of our favourite. It actually made me want to try and start painting again, Gavin even encourage me to do it. So I'm going to get the stuff to start and do it again. Back to the museum, lol. One of my favourite artists painting were there, so I was so happy. My favourite artist is Edgar Degas. We spent nearly 2 and half hour in there.
Then we went to this park that has this weird looking statute that had a face on it and spit water out of it’s mouth every once in a while. We sat there and looked at it for a while.
The next day, we went to Aquarium, we weren’t that impressed with that, as it was really really packed, we looked around for a bit and then just left.
We went to a White Sox game, it was the first baseball game that I have been too. We didn’t stay the whole time as we had to take the subway back to the hotel, we didn’t want it to be too packed.
This trip was amazing; I got to see places that I never saw before and this was very special to me too as this was my first vacation with my boyfriend. We had our moments where we snapped with each other, but that only lasted for a few minutes, I will always remember this vacation, as I learnt that I can do things that I never thought I could, and it was so relaxing.
