I'm finally starting to get my notes together to post some meaningful discussion topics, but the last few weeks have been a bit nutty so I had delayed the discussions. I'm starting with a relatively easy one tonight and hope to post some more interesting topics down the line so bear with me

I was really happy that they got to earth, and still have half a season to explore it. I especially love the character development of Laura Roslin going on throughout these season 4 episodes (and yeah, The Road Less Traveled was not very good, partly because the plot overshadowed Starbuck's character development stagnation). I'm sympathetic to Lee, though I liked him best at the end of season 3 (hey, he gives good speeches)! *waves* It's been a while since I've written to you. Hope you're surviving the hiatus. :D

laura got to me most. laura and her story, laura and her strength, laura and her humanity. also, tigh. their respective stories fascinate me. i don't know, i don't think i can exactly talk about everything that impressed me, there were too many things i loved, from the music to the story and characters.
what i want for the next 10 episodes? well, can't say i have any expectations. the only thing i really hope for is that bill treats laura right now that she's finally opened up to him. he tends to get swallowed up in his own grief and pain and i'd rather wish he'd put off being emo and be there for her. he'll have enough time to be emo after she's gone.

hehe, I know what you mean. I should have mostly talked about the things I didn't like because there were very, very few things. And even then, I'm learning to get over them.

sorry your AC failed, btw. never had an AC, always braved summer - and it can go over 100 degrees here - AC-less. either way, hope it gets fixed soon. :)

I think she's always recognized that Lee would make a perfect choice for the presidency. Maybe that's why she always sought his advice in the first season - because she was testing him or something. I dunno. I just remember reading that interview that Mary gave whereupon she said that Laura has always had an eye on Lee to see if he would be adequate to be the next president since he had the background of a military man and now has some diplomatic experience under his belt. I've liked his growth (and his falls) as a character.
Gah! I knew I forgot to mention someone! Natalie. I wish she'd been given more to do, especially after all the hubbub before the season began.
