Can anyone help? (Changing Layout)

I'm getting stressed now :(

I followed a overide generator thing to chnage my layout because i want a header at the top but it won't work :(

I've been trying for ages and i've changed from S1 to S2 to different sorts of layouts and nothing is working :(

Can anyone help?

Hey!
I remember having loads of problems when I tried to change my layout. I have no idea whether this'll work for you or not but I'll tell you what I did just in case it does :)

In Basics, it's on S1.
In Look and Feel, the 4 drop downs are set to Generator, and custom colours are all white.
In Custom Options, overrides is where all the html stuff goes.

And I think that's it. Took me ages to get it to work, and it still doesn't do what I wanted it to, but it looks ok so I gave up!

I don't understand it's like the overide doesn't work at all coz now it's just all white lol with like random pics scattered around the place.
What code do you have for white? coz i tried to get the whitest white i could find, but it may not even be the right white lol

This is why i hate LJ and prefer myspace lol, it's so much easier!

Ha erm I don't have any codes for white, all my boxes are empty! I think I ended up having to white everything because it said so on the site I got my layout from. Which is probably no help whatsoever to you oops.

Aww I'm sorry hun, I can't help. I haven't got a clue on how all the technical stuff works on LJ. But I can do a funky dance to cheer you up if you like? :P

That wasn't what i wanted lol, it's only like that because i couldn't work the code thing so i just changed the colours i can do that bit lol

Pink goes well with green :)
