Should teachers be armed in the classroom??? Its a conterviseral topic right now in America because of a Wisconsin senator who proposed the idea live on MSNBC. No weapons should be allowed in schools period. Teachers with guns (even stun guns) only serves to escalate violence. A more effective solution to school violence is teaching people how best to react in a violent situation and more importantly, working toward a less violent society, which would involve teaching people how to communicate, and emphasising compassion and kindness for everyone, even if we think they look funny or don't like the music they listen to or whatever
