Yes, here's to hoping that 2021 is nothing like 2020 ;) Here in Philly we're not officially on lockdown, but it is frustrating to see so many people not paying any attention to the guidelines.

(Also, I got your card - thanks! My parents were tickled by the Welsh dragon *g* and it's now hanging on our garland ribbon)

*many hugs*

It's been sooooo hard, as someone staying home nearly this entire year because of asthma, to see other people flaunting the rules, common sense, and science to keep this horrible thing churning endlessly. I was very alarmed to hear that there's evidently a new mutant strain now... it sometimes seems like a nightmare that will never end.

*more hugs*

Thank you, that's exactly how I feel. Two weeks into the rollout of the vaccine to our over 80s and this new mutant variation arrives, the infection rate shoots up so that half the country are, effectively, in lockdown (although the roads and railway stations were literally crowded with people trying to escape the locked down places, therefore spreading the new strain further), then practically the rest of Europe has banned entry from anyone in the UK, including truck drivers trying to work, which has left thousands of trucks backed up on the motorway as they can't go anywhere. There just seems no end in sight!

Hugs to you and happy and safe holidays.
