*Waves* Here you are! I've been thinking of you (and Lizzie) and was wondering how you guys are passing up this golden opportunity! Guess RL has been getting in the way?
I assume you guys saw the trailer too? What do you think?
(Oops - I was working my way backwards on my flist and just saw your entry now Anne.)
Pressing enter without saying all you wanted to say, typical.
I actually just saw the trailer, I was waiting till I got home so it could in some way cleanse me or whatever. LOL. I liked it. It's probably one of the better trailers they've had, and even though ZOMG non-canon scene, I'm glad we got a glimpse of Ginny!!
Seriously. What's the point of Edward being a Vampire, then?
Unless one of Bella's un!friends has the baby, and they adopt it. Or kidnap it. ("Edward told me to!")
Buffy/Angel did it so much better. (Though I do admit to still finding it a tad squicky that Angel was twenty six, and in love with her when she was fifteen. But then, fifteen in his time was our twenty six anyway, I guess, so... okay, maybe I'm just thinking too much?)
I have to admit I might have read the first seven chapters and the only vampire characteristics he retains are...eh, wait. Not plural. It's only one thing. He can live forever.
The rest is just made of fail.
Buffy and Angel had angst. Because, well ...isn't that the whole point of having a relationship with a vampire?
RFLAMO!!! I didn't think of it that way, but fair point. I'm amazed he manages to leave bruises ZOMG all over and she somehow didn't feel a thing. She was too high on his love or whatever.
Honestly, we should all be grateful to SMeyer. For years, we all got it wrong with all those accusations of Mary Suism in HP...no no no...SMeyer has shown us what a true Mary Sue is.
