Poor Nieva. You probably should have suspected something when she started floating to the top of the water, waiting, darting to the bottom rocks, and then repeating the process indefinitely.

Okay - but my goldfish did live longer than Walmart says that they have to. Nieva lived like 9 days, and Walmart only garuntees (sp?) them for three days, so I think I did pretty well.

LOL - Okay so when you were telling the story I was sure you had had those goldfish for like a year or something. Not 9 days.
Walmart fish suck. I got a goldfish and named it like Phil or something. It died the day I got it. AFTER we filled the tank and all the crap. I looked at it and I was like "Momma... it dun died." and she was like "Didn't live long."
