As I was leaving the student lounge, I noticed directly up against the seal of the doorway, there was a tiny, fat snake. It was only about as long as my hand, but it was so big around that I knew it wasn't an adult, and when I looked closer, I saw that it had been stepped on or squashed at the head and neck. 80% is an outrageous number for rabies. Its a really rare disease and usually raccoons get it. Skunks are cool :D as long as you don't piss them off. As for snakes, you should have killed it with something long (so you weren't close) because its sad for animals to suffer. But its REALLY important not to be bitten XD

I wish I saw more wildlife like that!

People are so sensationalist about it! I kind of wonder where they got the idea that all the skunks are rabid.

I'm sure I would have screamed bloody murder and run away like a ninny. Uuuugh, I hate snakes, even dead ones.
