I feel the need to write a little bit before I officially get back to reality and pick up the slack I've let go for the past week and a half.

Journalism is a bitch, but I think you can do it. In fact, I KNOW you can do it. =)
Oh, and please send me your articles (if they're online) so I can read them and be super proud like I do with my brother.
