I loved seeing Dr. John with you in the relatively intimate setting of Tipitina's, particularly because we were backstage and had the best seats in the house (and it was the first real show I'd seen in New Orleans ( ... )

I didn't answer the amount thing, because I think that varies greatly on the band playing if I want to pay more than a standard "cover" of five to ten bucks.

gosh this set me to thinking of the so many shows ive been to and i really cant decide on any one show! i think a lot of shows for me are enhanced by my company. i dont think $10 is too much to see a band maybe because ive known so many band members having to split paltry door funds. the only scenario i can see myself paying more than 40 dollars for a show is if tom waits plays or perhaps if someone returned from the dead or something.
