Of dogs and things

I have been pretty ill post New Orleans trip, I can't imagine living in that toxic area again. My father came by yesterday and dropped off a spare microwave they had! Yay! Microwaves are very useful for reheating all manner of things, including the cold-wax/liquin medium I prefer using when oil painting. Now to replenish my stock of baby food ( Read more... )

my friends used to breed Yorkies. they are "interesting" dogs.
very intelligent and loyal. the females are much more
friendly than the males and generally healthier. Chewy(pictured)
is a temp, while our son and dil are living here with us. he's
half Toy Poodle and half Llasa. we have generally had better
luck, health-wise, with Heinz-American dogs.

Chewy is beyond cute! We have decided to wait, though we did go look at petco for a puppy, we had no luck and haven't seen anything for sale in the local paper. I do have a business card for a breeder in Henderson, Texas , we are avoiding the long drive just now.
