I wouldn't worry, it won't happen to women. I'm pro-bush, but I think whoever won, we'd still be in this mess. I think the women are safe.

i believe that too. Whoever wins the election, we're still in war either way. I don't know who to be "pro" for anymore though. Whoever gets it, they're gonna fuck up in some way anyway. lol All Presidents do.

It won't/can't happen. For one thing, there hasn't been a draft since Vietnam and there have been numerous chances for it to be reinstated since then, but it hasn't. Women will never be forced to go to war unless they want to, as piggish as it sounds, women are needed in reproduction and other jobs in the nation. Also, how many women do you know that can carry twice their weight on their back in the hot desert? Maybe, maybe, a couple thousand women, but not as many as men. It's just a rumor to try to scare people into voting for Kerry ( ... )

yea, well they won't force a woman, besides, it'd be a stupid tatic-a lot of women would have to go through tons of training, majority of women are more into shopping than they are benching 500 pounds.

exactly. lol probably about 90% of women in the country would keel over and die before they even completed 100 of those bench presses.

The bill really exists. The democrats introduced it to put pressure on the Bush campaign and get people to vote for Kerry. There's just no way it will ever pass. The military doesn't want inexperienced draftees. It's too hard to train them and too hard to maintain discipline. If the draft ever was reinstated, we would have another situation like Vietnam, and both parties know that. So I wouldn't worry about it.

eh, i figure if it did happen there's no way they'd be able to send me. the most talent i have is lifting my credit card to hand it to the cashier at the Spa or Hollister. lol But i do agree, they'd have way too many problems if they ever even did pass this. Thanks for commenting too. You're one of the few who has had an opinion on it. :)
