It's always amazed me how people can be so supportive of the abuser and so willing to blame the victim. It happens more often than I'd like to think, and is really hurtful. I'm sorry that your parents, who should know better, given their chosen professions, are so blind to your brother's cruelty and are pushing you to be in a relationship that you aren't comfortable with. Stick to your guns, grrlie, you are doing the right thing for you! *hug*
