Last weekend was pretty great... definitely one of the best I've had, ever. Want a rundown? Good, 'cause here goes :)

Friday I worked, then went to Montevallo to see my parents and do laundry and whatnot. It'd been like 3 weeks since the last time I did laundry, and my underwear supply was nearly through. Okay, so Friday wasn't really THAT exciting.

Saturday--Marc and I rolled out of Birmingham at 8:30 in the morning to get to Nashville to see the marriage of some friends. Technically they're his friends, but I had met them once before, so that counts, right? Anyway, since it only takes 3 hours to get to Nashville, we figured we would have plenty of time to get there and change clothes and get to the wedding by 1. Hahahahahahaha. Apparently, all of Nashville's roads were under construction; two miles before our exit we hit a snag and it took us nearly an hour to get to our exit. TWO MILES!

When we finally made it to the Opryland Hotel (where the wedding was being held), we ran inside and changed clothes, ran back outside to get the car parked, and made it back inside the hotel with about 5 minutes to spare. Unfortunately, there are no helpful signs or people located anywhere, and we spent the next 20 minutes searching for the "Delta Pavilion". By the time we finally made it there, we managed to see the end of the wedding party leaving to go the the reception area. Hahahahahha. So we signed the guest book and merged with the rest of the crowd and acted as if we'd been there the whole time.

The reception was nice, and I totally forgot to bring in my camera so I didn't get any pictures of me and Marc looking all hot and stuff. After the reception we went to our hotel; the guy at the check-in desk asked if we'd just gotten married (there's a wedding chapel down the road).. that's the second time someone thought we were getting married. I'm taking it as a sign ;) We had planned on going back out to get dinner, but we ended up just staying in and getting room service and enjoying our awesome hotel and watching movies on TBS.

SUNDAY!!! We checked out and decided to get lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Totally worth it. After that we went to the Adventure Science Museum and played like little kids. They even had a fake snow machine, which rocked. I did get some pictures there, so I'll post those later. We made it back to Birmingham around 8:30 sunday night and just chilled out the rest of the night.

you know, i've been in love before, or at least i thought i was, but being in love with marc is so different from anything i've felt before. it's so much more real, so much more passionate... it's so much better than what i'd always thought it would be like.

I have a 7-10 page paper due tomorrow night at 7. I still haven't finished reading the book for it. Wish me luck...
