I need a job in Bedford too! We can go look together, like a job hunting team.

Also, hanging out at Quasar is free so do it lots while you're here!

6 years has got you a lovely girlfriend and great friends in portsmouth??

not sure how you could have ended up with no job after living there for 2 months though... lots of my friends back home have no qualifications have found jobs for royal mail, maccy d's, factory work - i spent 10 hours with them on a random saturday and by the end of the day we usually found something ... we went in every shop and dropped a CV off, we signed up to all the local agencies, we printed out all the jobs on the job centre machines and even dropped into local factories.

ive worked in a carpet factory for months just to get by, i know what its like... but i know that if i want to stay where i am... i will get a job wherever, whatever the working hours are and i wont stop until i find one (even if it means not seeing my friends and family) because i know itll be worth it when i get one.

id be out there looking instead of writing essays on LJ and playing vandal hearts... 1:49am cant mean your getting enough sleep to wake up intime to look for 9am

I have to agree with Sean here Ricky.

Also, the fact that you always put your ITG and Dudley above the fact that your rent is due and the fact that you owe people money, annoys a lot of people Rick.

I agree with this too, Theres many a chance that you've had to look round town properly when you've chosen to stay in and play games and i do believe i offered to go with you if you needed me to and you could have asked me anytime as you know i work nights so could have met you during the day and helped you look, there's plenty about, crap jobs or not- it's work...

I'm not having a go, I'm just being honest here Rick..

Will be sad to see you leave xxx

what can we say that WILL help him, Jo?

I tried supporting him, when i told him of like, 5 jobs, if not more, to go for, and even if i couldnt be arsed to apply for them, i CAN be fussy if i want to be, i had no risk of being kicked out.
He didnt apply for EITHER of the telesales jobs i gave him, even when i applied for one and got an interview.
I also suggested fast food chains, other telesales places. PLACES THAT WONT EMPLOY PEOPLE WITH TOP EXPERIENCE. Telesales jobs dont care for experience, race, religion, background. He was aware of this, i told him a trillion times.

I wish you the best of luck back in Bedford. Hopefully ill see you back down this way sometime soon.

Erm...Maz, I DID apply for them telesales jobs! And you only told me about one or two jobs, definately not five!

I do not put dudley/ITG Above rent etc. I have to some excitement to balance things out. Plus I only spend about a tenner anyways.

I have been looking so very hard for a job. So what if I havent posted about looking for them in my LJ, doesnt mean I havent been looking. I have applied for LOADS of places, signed up with agencies, handed out CVs and everything.

I know I still owe people money, and I'll be sure to pay them back once I do get a solid job. Its not like Ive been taking the piss either.

I'll be back in Southampton soon enough, when Ive got things sorted

Tenner or not Ricky, that should come beneath the money you owe people.

From experiance, its not a good idea to burn your bridges due to owing people money.

Plus, you also need to acknowledge people you actually owe money too, and shouldnt be ITGing/DDRing when you know these people need their money back.

Right, so you xpect me to be broke and have no fun whatsoever.

I know I owe people money, and they are happy knowing I'll pay them back when I start working.

I thought you would be more supportive :|

There is a point that support can be suppased Rick.

You can have fun playing your PS2, you dont need to go out and about and spend money to have a good time, just look at me and Scott, we spend 7 for the two of us, fopr a good 7 hrs at the pool hall, do something like that if your insistant on it.
