i have just never been able to really get into the pixies or the flaming lips.  i feel they're related; is that wrong?

the pixies i can get behind. especially in the right mood.

however, the flaming lips are just craptastical.

when i first started liking the flaming lips i couldn't tell them from mercury rev or radial spangle. but the pixies and the lips both are big 90's bands. i don't think anything someone thinks about music they can be told is wrong. personally i can't hear jimmy hendrix and i hate the beatles.

i use to listen to butt trumpet back in the days. so did dj ricky. one time they played in jacksonville at a small club on university blvd that i think now is a voyeur fantasy bar.
