for a wonderful weekend!! It was the best birthday seeing you all. Tell Tara that my eye isn't 'broke' anymore (or at least won't be as of tomorrow) ;) Give Braeden a big smooch from me and Lou a warm hug.... save plenty for yourself!!
I'm not sure that the meds will make you more organized or more alert and clear thinking... but they will keep crazy emotions at bay so you can develop those good habits.
Most drugs take a few weeks to find levels in your system. If you think you're bipolar make certain they are doing blood work as well. It's not just an emotional issue, but a biochemical one. You need to have that monitored carefully.
Hey now... I am bipolar with psychotic features (meaning I also have halucinations) and I don't like to think of myself as crazy. :P
But yes... it DOES take several weeks before you really notice a differance. And if you don't notice a significant change, those meds might just not be right for you. I don't even know how many different cocktails I tried before finding what I am on now. And even on the right drugs, there are times in my life when I am going through something rough that they need to get temporarily upped or that I need to go back on my anxiety pills as well. The important thing is to watch your symptoms closely and go back to the doctor's when you realize somethings not right... BEORE you start slashing yourself open or destroying your stuff or buying $5,000 items that you can't afford (or maybe that's just what I do...).
I thought you had said you'd neverf do the meds thing..times change eh?
I like to call a spade a spade when dealing with myself, otherwise i'll say there's nothing wrong with me..it was just a weak moment. Everyone else gets my tact (which is somewhat ironic considering... heh
Yea. Well thats what the psychiatrist is going to be there for i suppose.
