Im about to leave to go have knee surgery at Stony Brook. They are repairing a tear in my meniscus and moving my knee cap so its at the right angle (the initial problem i have had for years). It is all arthoscopically and i will be home today but i am still quite nervous

Good luck, hon. *hugs* My mom has had a similar procedure done on both knees, and she seems to have managed just fine. I'll be thinking of you!

I just had some surgery in the last week, too (fairly minor, fortunately...). It sucks when you have to worry about these things. I hope that you have a speedy recovery!
