So apparently there is a workshop at a local library having to do with writing a mystery. I have been recently writing stories in the mystery/thriller genre, so maybe this would be a good idea to attend. It might help me with the whole "make it look really bad for my MC that he is the killer, when in reality it's somebody nobody suspected at all"

I believe camp nano is in June. ;) But I think your timeline possible. It'll just take a lot of work to get it ready and publishable by May since you have to format, etc. Exciting. :D

As for publishing under a pen name or not, I guess that's up to you. I honestly don't think it matters all too much.
