As Presidential speeches go, even Bill Clinton in his finest hour would have a hard time up against what we saw from Obama tonight. No Democrat has rocked the house that much since JFK.

However, mad oratory skillz aside, he's got one hell of a hill to climb. No matter if Congress is Democrat-controlled, Congress is still bought and paid-for, which means there will be no easy task ahead in reforming any of the industries (banking, health care) that have had this nation's taxpayers in a stranglehold for so long.

That said, I wish him (and us) the best - and I'm behind him all the way.

(Note: Just imagine what tonight's speech would've been like, if it was McCain speaking, with Sarah "You Betcha" Palin sitting behind him with that stupid grin going for the duration!)
