Random contents of various storage spaces in my classroom

A few things I've found in cabinets and my storage rooms, because it amuses me:

• 1 box of 5.25" floppy disks
• A couple of very heavy handmade wooden doors
• A galvanized steel door.
• Miscellaneous car parts
• Model rocket kits

The runners-up for funniest thing in your closet are:

Number three: The gravel. I acknowledge that they could have gotten it as part of some kid's project about something, but...why did they keep it? Are there hermit crabs around?

Number two: The locker. Because you KNOW you're gonna hit it just right sometime, it'll pop open, and there'll be the skeleton of a long-deceased freshman inside. But then the wind will blow the door closed, and it'll never come open again.

Numer one: The manicure kit. Hey, if you're gonna have kids staying after school, you might as well make 'em useful and have 'em give you a manicure as part of their detention. Actually, that would rock.

And the winner is: The...the...the...coathanger, uh, structure. It just has "failed project" written all over it. Like, some kid had a great idea and could never get it to work out. All those hopes and dreams of a passing grade...and now you're using his failure to hang your sweater on, lol.

I vote yay for the aquarium gravel. That stuff rocks. what color is it? Also, the list sounds vaguely like an inventory for an adventure game that's like, "you're gonna need all this stuff eventually... but for what purpose?!! You'll find out!"
