It took me a few days to get to read this and then another to comment, but here I am, back for more!

Ah, yes, in regards to that last conversation (Bail and Seth), hindsight is 20/20! It does look like the Jedi were dumb not to realize what was happening but sheesh, it's not like Palpatine reeked of Eu de Sith or something -- he was cloaked.

Poor Luke, his personality is so affected by being in the Palace! Interesting! His more so than Leia's... how canonical that feels, given their backgrounds in the saga. Hee.

I love Palpatine <3 How kind he is to keep the useless Padme around so long! I wonder how he intends to split them up... shouldn't be too hard if he gets wind of her dealings with the Rebellion, hmmm!

I'll try not to take so long to read it if you post the next chapter soon :)
