Today was my last day of full time employment before my weekend off and a new year at school, this time focusing on school full time, and only working part time to pay my expenses as best I can

It seems a number of my friends are in the process of making big changes in their lives. It's good that you will still be at the same store and with a good position and it's good to see that your hard work and your ability are appreciated.
Enjoy college! It's a great time to explore the world. Don't be surprised though if a lot of the students seem a lot younger than you. Students who haven't yet had significant experience working and making it on their own are often clueless about the real world.
