On Headstones

I'm in an 18th and 19th century Lit Survey class this semester, and one of the poems we had to read this week was Thomas Gray's "Elegy Wrote in a Country Church-Yard" from 1751. Just because your ashes may be spread over or buried in your favorite place or sent of into the depths of space doesn't mean that you shouldn't mark your existence with a stately obelisk engraved with your favorite prose. :)
