Got third out of three (79.4 I think?) only third by 2 or three tenths of a point, not bad at all i think, I had fun performing is lots of fun I think I like it better than marching band comp.s becuase you put more of yourself forward, or atleast I do, (gillian may beg to differ^^) sleep now though. happy finals.

Color Guard, like WP, has the unfortunate double duty of being not only judge-pleasing, but crowd-pleasing. A really good show has to mean just as much to you as it does to your instructors, or it falls through, because it's evident on your faces whether you're competing or having fun.

Not to mention the field is a hell of a lot more compact, providing for a lot more intimacy with the audience. You can tell people are watching you and only you. Having been there and done that, especially at Dartmouth, I know where you're coming from.

And besides, I think Gillian doesn't have quite as much to put forward as you do. *pokes tummy*
